The
Stevens family raised him as their own. But even as an infant,
they recognized young Mike's disdain for paying too much for auto, life,
home or health insurance. He would cry incessantly whenever an

Eventually,
Mike Stevens moved to the big city of Gothametropolis. There, in
an effort to put himself in a position to gather the best information
possible for American consumers, he took a job at the city's newspaper, The
Daily Tribune, as a reporter on the insurance beat. 
There,
he assumed the role of a clumsy nerd who never seemed to be around when
someone was in need of a low insurance quote. Even his co-workers
and closest friends did not suspect that whenever a person was in need
of a quote, he would quickly change from mild-mannered reporter into
Q-Man, fighting for truth, justice, and the American way . . . one
